Angkor Discovery 4 days 3 nights

Angkor Discovery Siem Reap 4 days 3 nights

  • Day 1: Arrival Siem Reap: Roluos Group – Ta Prohm – Angkor Thom (B,,D)
    • Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be picked up at the airport by your guide and escorted to the hotel.
After checking in, you will take a trip back through time and visit one of the early Angkor capitals, the Hariharalaya, commonly known as the Roluos Group. Here you will get to see temples such as Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong.
Continue on to Ta Prohm, which has been slowly swallowed by the jungle. Man may have originally conquered the jungle to erect buildings here, but over the course of centuries, nature has reclaimed it, and the temple sports giant trees spreading their tentacle-like roots into its very rocks.
In the evening you will enjoy an Apsara dance show with your dinner and then spend the night in Siem Reap.

  • Day 2: Siem Reap: Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom (B,L,)
    • This day will be spent in what many consider the highlight of Cambodia, the masterpiece of Khmer architecture that is Angkor Wat. Sporting extraordinary carvings on its bas-reliefs, this “Capital Temple” is not only the symbol and pride of the Khmer people, but also the world’s largest religious monument. It has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1992.
Moving on you will visit many more temples that are part of the sprawling complex, including the mysterious Royal city of Angkor Thom and Bayon with its 54 towers and hundreds of smiling stone faces. Then you will tour the outskirts of the complex, visiting Baphuon, Elephant Terrace, Leper Kings Terrace and the Royal palace.
After spending the day in the temple complex, you will overnight in Siem Reap.
