Trajet: Hanoï – Parc national Ba Be – Cascades de Ban Gioc – Meo Vac – Dong Van

  • Jour 1 : Hanoï – Parc national Ba Be (Déjeuner, Dîner)
    • Votre guide et votre chauffeur viendront vous récupérer à l’hôtel et vous prendrez la route pour le parc national de Ba Be. En route, vous vous arrêterez visiter le musée d’ethnologie de Thai Nguyen afin d’en savoir un peu plus sur les différents groupes de minorités ethniques qui composent le Vietnam. Vous déjeunerez à Bac Kan et pourrez profiter d’un temps libre à Ba Be pour commencer à explorer la rive du lac et les villages Tay.
  • Jour 2 : parc national Ba Be – Cao Bang (Petit-déjeuner, Déjeuner, Dîner)
    • Vous embarquerez sur un bateau pour apprécier toute la beauté du parc. Vous visiterez le village de Hua Tang puis vous vous promènerez dans la jungle afin d’atteindre les cascades de Dau Dang. Vous continuerez ensuite votre voyage sur la rivière pour vous rendre à Cho Ra où vous déjeunerez. Vous prendrez ensuite la route pour Cao Bang où vous passerez la nuit à l’hôtel.
  • Jour 3 : Cao Bang – Ban Gioc – Bao Lac (Petit-déjeuner, Déjeuner, Dîner)
    • Vous découvrirez les impressionnantes cascades de Ban Gioc situées pile à la frontière entre le Vietnam et la Chine. Vous visiterez en chemin les villages des minorités ethniques Tay, H’mong et Dzao. Vous déjeunerez dans un restaurant près de la cascade puis irez visiter la grotte Nguom Ngao et ses 1140 mètres de balade au milieu des stalactites et stalagmites. Vous serez ensuite conduit à Bao Lac où vous passerez la nuit.
  • Jour 4 : Bao Lac – Meo Vac – Dong Van (Petit-déjeuner, Déjeuner, Dîner)
    • Après le petit déjeuner, vous quitterez Bao Lac pour Dong Van. Le paysage y est spectaculaire, et vous aurez la chance de visiter les maisons traditionnelles des tribus vivant ici. Vous déjeunerez dans un restaurant local, puis franchirez le col Ma Pi Leng où vous pourrez profiter des magnifiques chaînes de montagnes et de la rivière Nho Que. Vous aurez la possibilité de visiter les rues aux maisons anciennes de l'H'mong en briques d'argile et aux toits de tuiles, construites il y a des siècles. Vous passerez la nuit dans un hôtel à Dong Van.
  • Jour 5 : Dong Van – Yen Minh – Quan Ba – Ha Giang (Petit-déjeuner, Déjeuner, Dîner)
    • Avant de quitter la ville vous visiterez le vieux quartier et le marché. Vous monterez en suite au sommet de la forteresse de Pu Lo, construite par les français durant l’époque coloniale et profiterez d’une vue somptueuse sur toute la vallée. Ensuite, vous roulerez tranquillement de Dong Van à Yen Minh & Quan Ba, une autre occasion d'apprécier la beauté sauvage de la région. Vous visiterez également le célèbre palais Vuong, qui appartenait à une famille H'mong de rang élevé durant la domination coloniale française. Ce palais attire l’attention de par son architecture à la fois européenne et chinoise. Vous prendrez ensuite la route pour Quan Ba puis Ha Giang où vous passerez la nuit.
  • Jour 6 : Ha Giang – Hanoï (Petit-déjeuner, Déjeuner)
    • C’est le dernier jour de votre aventure dans le nord du Vietnam. Vous retournerez à Hanoi en passant par Tuyen Quang où vous déjeunerez et vous arrêterez prendre quelques dernières photos. Vous arriverez à Hanoi en fin d'après-midi.

We greatly enjoyed our 6 day tour with our most friendly, funny and knowledgeable guide Mr. Long and driver Mr. Nam. The impressions we gained were beyond what we imagined. Any wishes and requests concerning our tour were answered and catered for and we felt safe and welcome the whole trip. A great experience in many ways: culinary, scenically, culturally and personally. A big recommendation for anyone who is looking to get to know Vietnam off the beaten track.

The adventure of our lives

We chose Mr Linh's Adventures because we wanted to really get to know Vietnam, to meet its people, to see its natural beauty and we could not have made any better decision.
Long (our tour guide) and Mr Thanh (our driver) are such a great team and took care of us like we could have never imagined. Together, we went on our great adventure in Northern Vietnam, where we got to do hiking, to swim in Ba Be Lake, to meet local people and experience the authentic life of the Red Dao p...Read Moreeople, Tai people, Hmong and Thai people.
Long always kept our interest active and explained us everything about customs, food, culture and agriculture, local legends and even Vietnamese words. He taught us how to behave in order not to offense the people and to show them respect, he went with us on hiking tours and even carried our sticky rice for our picnic.
He was particularly attentive to our wishes and kept us off the crowded paths so we got the chance to discover Vietnam without the hassle of hundreds of tourists.
We are also very thankful for the custom tour Mr Linh's provided for us, tailored for our preferences.

An Adventure Indeed

Swinging through an endless series of z curves, the centre line a mere suggestion of which side you should be on, dodging motorcycles, cars, container trucks, walkers, water-buffalo, dogs, and on and on and on... this was our road trip through the beauty of North Vietnam.

Our driver, Bao, expertly handled the car; we were grateful for his skill and felt very safe. Our guide, Loi, was a kind, fun-loving man who assured our needs were met and patiently provided explanations ...Read Moreand answers to our many questions. He was warmly greeted by everyone we met and made an extra effort to keep us comfortable and well-fed.

We were happy to have had our warm weather clothing as the weather was rainy and temperatures cold which was unusual for the season. Our home stay hosts were gracious in welcoming us and provided delicious meals.

The beauty of the limestone peaks, green valleys, terraced gardens were the reward as was the privilege of seeing the people of the region at work.

Spectacular

Physical demands perfect for senior citizens. We enjoyed learning about and living among the ethnic minorities. Our guide, Nha, and the driver, Mr. Bao, treated us like family...royal family! Fantastic 6 day trip through very dramatic scenery. A lot of driving, but well worth the time. A walk each day was possible and plenty of sight seeing.
Minh was a really great guide and Cuong a fantastic and very safe driver in challenging conditions.

We were on the 6 days trek to Northern Vietnam. Going to Vietnam was our vacation, but it has turned out to be an "

5 Days 4 Nights Ha Giang/Ba Be Highlights

This was a great trip that I did with my whole family - two adult kids and pretty fit parents in their 60s. We got to see A LOT! Our driver was lovely and Mr Linh very helpful. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend this trip to others too, though it is quite a bit of driving - though mostly through amazing scenery where you can stop any time and take pics and enjoy! For vegetarians consider bringing some of your own snacks as options are very limited in this part of Vietnam...Read More (though Mr Linh did as best they could to provide us with some variety and healthy options). Accommodation is good standard and the homestay the first night was really lovely. If you can make it to Ha Giang do - it's the most incredible part of Vietnam I've been to - unbelievably scenic (it will seriously be one of the most beautiful places you'll ever see), really diverse cultures and a little off the beaten track!
