Cambodia adventure 3 days 2 nights

This tour will give you the chance to experience the magnificent splendour of majestic Angkor. No trip to Cambodia would be complete without it, and as you discover the largest religious monument ever built, Angkor Wat, you will marvel at this architectural masterpiece.

  • Day 1: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Ta Prohm – Angkor Thom (-,-,D)
    • This day will be spent in what many consider the highlight of Cambodia, the masterpiece of Khmer architecture that is Angkor Wat. Sporting extraordinary carvings on its bas-reliefs, this “Capital Temple” is not only the symbol and pride of the Khmer people, but also the world’s largest religious monument. It has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1992.
But while Angkor Wat itself might be the most famous temple, there are many more to see here. Continue on to Ta Prohm, which has been slowly swallowed by the jungle. Man may have originally conquered the jungle to erect buildings here, but over the course of centuries, nature has reclaimed it, and the temple sports giant trees spreading their tentacle-like roots into its very rocks.
Moving on you will visit many more temples that are part of the sprawling complex, including the mysterious Royal city of Angkor Thom and Bayon with its 54 towers and hundreds of smiling stone faces.
In the evening you will enjoy an Apsara dance show with your dinner and then spend the night in Siem Reap.

    • Now you will get a unique opportunity to see the real Cambodia. After an early breakfast, you’ll head out of Siem Reap. Along the way you will see traditional Khmer villages before a short scenic hike (3.2km) through the jungle to visit Kbal Spean, or “The River of the Thousand Lingas”, which sports ancient carvings on the riverbed.
Then you will visit the Angkor centre for Conservation of Biodiversity (ACCB) which has the distinction of being the first nature conservation centre in the country. It’s mission statement is to contribute to the conservation of wildlife and biodiversity in the Angkor region and across Cambodia in general.
On the way back to Siem Reap where you will spend the night, a stop will be made at Banteay Srey, also known as the “Temple of Women” which features amazingly intricate red sandstone carvings.
