Fried Tofu with Salted Egg
Tofu is a popular ingredients of Vietnamese cuisines. Try this new dish of Fried tofu with Salted Egg and let us know what you think. PREPARATION TIME: 15 Minutes COOK TIME: 20 Minutes PREPARE INGREDIENTS -    1 pack of soft tofu -    2-3 salted eggs. -    3 Tbsp corn starch flour -    1 Tbsp custard powder -    Salt, pepper, cooking oil -    Small spring onion DETAIL RECIPE 1 -    Cut tofu into small square pieces 2 -    Clean spring onion and slice into small short pieces 3 -    Boil salted eggs, peel away its outer layer and take the egg yolks 4 -    Grind egg yolks thoroughly 5 -    Mix corn starch flour and custard powder together. Roll tofu pieces with this mixture and then fry them until they become crispy and golden brown. 6 -    Pick up fried tofu pieces into a plate 7 -    Pour some cooking oil into the pan, put ground egg yolks in and stir regularly, then season with salt. 8 -    Put fried tofu in and stir so that egg yolks can stick to each tofu piece. Pick up tofu pieces into a plate 9 -    Put sliced spring onion into the pan, stir until it smells. Put onion on tofu, sprinkle with pepper Serve This dish is served hot with Soya-sauce and cooked rice.
Fruit cocktail
PREPARATION TIME: 5 Minutes COOK TIME: 5 Minutes PREPARE INGREDIENTS -    Fresh fruits (Avocado, Papaya, Dragon fruit, Grape, Pineapple, Kiwi…): ½-3/4 cup each -    1 tbsp rum or rum extract -    2 tsp sugar -    A piece of cinnamon bark. -    Smoothed ice. DETAIL RECIPE -    Heat the sugar and the cinnamon in rum, add water if needed. -    Cut the fruits into tiny cubes, then put into a cup. -    Pour the liquid of sugar, wine and cinnamon into the cup, but just equal to 40% of the fruits. -    Put ice onto the cup and serve.
Fried Corns with Butter
One of the all-time favourite appetizers for Vietnamese, enjoyed by people of all ages. PREPARATION TIME: 10 Minutes COOK TIME: 15 Minutes PREPARE INGREDIENTS 2 cups corn kernels ½ cup custard powder or 1 egg yolk ½ cup corn flour Salt, chili powder 3 tsp butter Oil, some seasoning (pepper, chili powder, salt) DETAIL RECIPE 1. Defrost and boil the corn kernels in salted water for about 3-4 minutes, then drain well and let cool. 2. Mix custard powder (or 1/2 egg yolk) and corn flour together. Add in some 1/2 tsp of salt and and mingle well with the corn kernels. Set aside for about 3-4 minutes. 3. Make another coating of flour mixture for the corn kernels: better flour coating leads to crunchier fried corn kernels. Mix in with the coated kernel. 4. Heat butter in a deep saucepan with oil. Add in the kernels and fry until they turn golden. It is better to fry the corn mixture in 2 batches.
