Vietnam Airlines operates from both Madrid and Barcelona in Spain, with flights to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City via Paris. Spanish citizens can stay in Vietnam for up to 15 days without any visa requirements. However, visits of between 15 and 30 days do require a visa. There are multiple ways of gaining a visa for Vietnam, but by far the easiest is to apply online for an e-visa. This can be done up to six months before travelling. There is also a Vietnam Embassy in Madrid if you’d prefer to make the application in person.
