Before indulging in a delectable Vietnamese lunch at our restaurant, visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to gain insights into the diverse cultures of the country's 54 ethnic groups.

Continue your exploration with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's inaugural university founded in the 11th century.

Conclude the journey at Hoan Kiem Lake, exploring Ngoc Son Temple, a tribute to General Tran Hung Dao from the 13th century.

Review of: Hanoi City Day Tour

I can highly recommend Mr Linh's Adventures and our Travel Consultant Helen. From first contacting Helen I knew we were in good hands, she expertly managed our expectations to maximise our time without over stretching the itinerary. Helen crafted a bespoke 7 night plan that incorporated Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba Island and Lan Ha Bay with private guides as well as free time so we could explore under our own steam.

Accommodation included hotels, homestays and a cruise on Lan Ha Bay and all were excellent.

Our dietary requirements (two of us are gluten and dairy free) were communicated to all involved in our trip and we were very well catered for.

Whilst we were on Cat Ba Island sailing was postponed due to a tropical storm which meant staying an extra night over and above our tour arrangements. Helen negotiated a great rate at the hotel we were already at, so there was no need to change accommodation or even rooms and ensured our return to Hanoi went smoothly once we could sail again the following day.

Last minute add on's to our Hanoi part of the trip were seamlessly added in and having some extra time in Ho Chi Minh City Helen arranged a private tour to the Chu Chi Tunnels.

Our guides and drivers were all excellent, and we cannot praise them enough, particularly with how engaging they were with our children (ages 10 & 12). The local and national knowledge they shared was brilliant and we left them with a much richer knowledge of Vietnam.

We spent a total of two weeks in Vietnam and Helen took care of over half of our holiday. Booking our trip North this way took all of the stress out of it and we are so glad we did.

Unique experience, excellent guides!

I was able to join two of the tours offered from Hanoi and back and was completely mesmerized by the landscapes outside of the city. The team was punctual, supportive, communicative and the facilities offered were clean and adequate.

The diverse variety of tours offered are incredibly attractive, along with the fantastic activities that are a part of the packages. I look forward to coming back to see parts of the country that I missed, especially with this crew :)

I did my whole vietnam itinerary with them which includes 3 day Hanoi, 1 day Ha long bay tour, and 3 day Ha giang loop. And everything was great!!! Helen was so helpful at every step when i needed help and all of my tour guides were the best! I highly recommend Mr. Linh’s adventure if you are looking to spend very quality time in Vietnam.
