  • Day 1: Sai Gon - Vinh Long (L)
    • You will be collected from your hotel in Saigon, and after arriving at the harbour in Vinh Long, you can visit the local market, Tien Chau Pagoda, local brick and pottery workshops and a huge nursery garden. You can enjoy local life and natural scenery along the way by walking or taking a short bicycle ride. You will stop for lunch at a garden restaurant. In the evening you will learn more about the culture as you spend the night with a local family in their homestay Vinh Long. You will be met with local hospitality so feel free to join your hosts in preparing dinner.
  • Day 2: Cai Be floating market - Sai Gon (B, L)
    • After breakfast in the homestay, you will take a sampan ride down the river to An Binh Island to visit an ancient house, local workshops, and then the colourful Cai Be Floating Market. Here you will see the boats all piled high with goods to sell gliding up and down the river. After your adventure on the Mekong, you will travel back to Saigon stopping half way for lunch which will be served at Mekong Restop Eco-Restaurant.
