Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be - Can Tho (L/D)
- The first day of your Vietnam adventure holidays sees you driving from Ho Chi Minh-city to Cai Be where we board our boat to venture into the green, watery world of the Mekong Delta. River banks are laden with coconut palms, rice fields, orchards and stilted houses and the water is teeming with boats of all shapes and sizes.
  The Mekong comes alive as we enjoy our boat trip past fishing boats, cargo vessels and even floating houses. We enjoy a delighful walk to explore around a local market, various cottage industries and fruit orchards. Afternoon finds us driving to Can Tho. Here, we spend the night in Ninh Kieu hotel.
Day 2: Can Tho - Ben Tre (B/L/D)
- This morning we take an early boat trip to explore the vibrant floating market of Cai Rang then the fertile tributaries of the Mekong River. Next, we journey to Ben Tre province, home to lush fruit orchards, rivers and a former stronghold of Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Here, we take a bicycling ride along the banks of Ham Luong River. Late in the afternoon, we settle in with a hospitable local family for cooking demonstrations. We make authentic Vietnamese food, such as succulent Coconut Cake, zesty dipping sauce, fresh Spring Rolls and other dishes.
  We then enjoy the family’s gracious hospitality as they share dinner with us. The night is spent in their home to experience their way of life and to experience river life.
Day 3: Ben Tre - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
- Our discovery of the delta's waterways and flourishing farms is to boat along the Ham Luong River, and take a bicycling ride across small villages and farmlands. Time is also spent taking a kayaking ride passing through mangroves, coconut and fruit orchards, stopping at our pleasure to savour the delta's succulent crops and bring us into contact with the local people.
  Following our delicious lunch in our host we board our vehicle for our return journey to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving there at around 5pm.

Amazing family adventures in South Vietnam

What a truly fantastic family experience!! We are a family of 5 from the Uk that includes 3 children aged 10, 7 and 5 years old. We recently did the tour of Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho in south Vietnam with Mr Linh’s Adventures. Thanks to our amazing guide David, this was an unforgettable experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, not only describing the history of Vietnam but also its amazing culture. The delicious local cuisine and a comfortable, well-equipped mini bus with great air conditioning made travelling between locations easy. Whilst in Ho Chi Minh we explored Independence Palace, the Cu Chi Tunnels and the War Remnants Museum. The local food throughout our tour was definitely a highlight, allowing the children to sample delicious Mekong Delta specialties in Can Tho, the rice popcorn and coconut candy were particularly highlights. Our time in Can Tho was highlighted by the boat ride to the famous floating market, where we got a taste of traditional river life. Everything was smoothly organised by our guide David, the mini bus was always on time, consistently clean and cool, making the journey comfortable for us all. Overall, the tour was a perfect mix of culture, history, and cuisine — highly recommended for anyone visiting southern Vietnam.

Mr Linh’s Adventure Tour 3 day Mekong Delta trip was amazing, comprehensive and all inclusive. Mr Huy, our tour guide, is very experienced and took us on unending expeditions over the tour. Website is professional and keeps you updated throughout the process till pickup. If you intend to travel Vietnam Mekong Delta there Is no better product than Mr Linh and his Adventure Tour. Mr Huy is best tour guide for Mekong.

Highlights of south Vietnam in glorious February sunshine

The whole trip of 6 nights (incl. nights of arrival and before early departure) was really enjoyable, well organised and interesting. All staff were delightful and very accommodating. We thought our guide Rah in Ho Chi Minh was great. She took us also to the Cu Chi Tunnels which were so intriguing. The trip included 2 nights (full board) on board a traditional Bassac boat on the Mekong Delta - very relaxing with good food. To be recommended.

Brilliant cruise

We had a great cruise on the Mekong Delta on the Dragon Eyes boat. Our tour guide was excellent and the support we received from Helen at Mr Linh's was all that we could have wanted. We saw the large rivers of the delta and some of the connecting canals while going on walking and cycling tours of the local villages. Our guide, Hai, was knowledgeable and helpful. The food on the boat was excellent, well prepared and lots of it!
