TRAVEL ROUTE: Hanoi - Halong Bay

- 8:30 to 9:00:  your day begins as you are picked up from your hotel nestled in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter, to embark on an unforgettable journey to Halong Bay. The route meanders through the enchanting landscapes of Hanoi, Haiphong, and the scenic Tuan Chau Highway, treating you to a captivating 2.5-hour drive.

Upon reaching Tuan Chau Harbor at noon, that's when the real fun begins! Hop on the cruise, and let the exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage site commence. Lunch is served on deck, featuring a tasty set menu/buffet with all sorts of Halong specialties. As you chow down, soak in the stunning views on both sides—think limestone formations like the Fighting Chicken and Incense Burner Islets, iconic symbols of Halong Bay.

- 2:00 PM, your journey takes you to Bo Hon Island, where the awe-inspiring Sung Sot Cave awaits exploration. Admire the intricate formations of stalagmites and stalactites, marveling at the cave's natural beauty. 

- 2:45 PM, engage in an adventure of kayaking or take a bamboo boat ride through Luon Cave, revealing the enchanting beauty of a hidden lagoon.

- 3:15 PM, leading you to TiTop Island, adorned with a sandy beach. Here, you have the option to indulge in a refreshing swim or embark on a trek to the island's summit for a panoramic view of Halong Bay. 

- 4:00 PM, return to the boat for a captivating sunset party, where you can relish a selection of wine, fruits, and biscuits while the vessel gracefully cruises back to the harbor.

- 5:45 PM, the boat arrives back to harbor. Board the bus for your return journey to Hanoi

- 8:30 PM, arrive at Hanoi and drop you off at your hotel. Trip ends.

I did my whole vietnam itinerary with them which includes 3 day Hanoi, 1 day Ha long bay tour, and 3 day Ha giang loop. And everything was great!!! Helen was so helpful at every step when i needed help and all of my tour guides were the best! I highly recommend Mr. Linh’s adventure if you are looking to spend very quality time in Vietnam.

We experienced the breath-taking views of Halong Bay with the day tour organized by Mr. Linh's Adventures. At the Hanoi Office, Helen and Nam were very professional, they explained the several options we had and helped us our tour. Our small group, consisted by 10 travelers plus our great tour guide Eric and our driver, started off from Hanoi by mini van and it took not more than 2 hours to get to the area of Halong Bay. Fantastic 5 days Halong Bay, Ban Gioc waterfall and Ba Be Lake

We had a fantastic 5 days travelling north east of Hanoi. Loi as an outstanding guide, going to a lot of effort to engage and entertain us (including leading us in a couple of rounds of karaoke on the mini van), as well as explaining the history and various cultures within Vietnam. I would highly recommend this tour and Loi as the guide.

We stumbled on this company by sheer accident while walking past the company. What a lucky find!
Collected from our hotel, private car, experienced happy driver, private boat with amazing seafood lunch and without doubt the best travel guide Loi.
We were taken to parts of the bay affording the most amazing scenery but more importantly avoiding the cluster of other tour boats wherever possible.
From avoiding queues, sugar cane juice bought for us after exiti...Read Moreng very hot caves, hints on tipping for the bamboo boat ride and advice on other things to see for the rest of our stay to name but a few, it was the attention to detail that was so special.
Loi was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous but also never invaded our privacy.
Let's face it, you can have a good time visiting this place with travel company but if you want a truly memorable experience that you will be talking about for years you have to use this one.
The difference between the day we had a what we saw other tourists having was chalk and cheese.
We left feeling completely satisfied with our trip but wanting to do many many more on our next holiday.

We travelled with Mr Linh's Adventures through Vietnam during 2 1/2 weeks and experienced some grandiose and very impressive moments. Although we contacted Mr Linh only 3 weeks before our holiday he gave us very useful advice and, together with his staff, set up an individual tour that met all our demands. We had private drivers and guides nearly all over the time - safe drivers and very competent guides with a profound knowledge of their region and its history, in particular Mr Minh...Read More who travelled with us from Hanoi to the dry and the wet Halong Bay and through the northern mountains. He was not only a very nice and professional guide (he knows a lot of the ethnic people in the north, but also of plants and animals, and he always was open to spontaneous ideas) but also shared with us some private experiences making such a trip much more interesting and colourful. And when we forgot some of our valuables in a hotel he very quickly organised a safe way to get them back. He knows the north of Vietnam very well, even the quite unknown northeastern part next to the Chinese border - still a quite non-touristic region with lots of ethnic minorities that we liked so much and where we would have liked to stay longer if we just had had more time for our holiday.
