  • Day 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai - Bac Ha (B/L/D) | Distance: 25–40 km. Elevation: +850 m / -420 m

    • We leave Hanoi early, letting the city's hum fade as the road climbs toward the far north. The drive to Bac Ha is your prelude: hills rolling into view, the air getting crisper, the pace slowing to match the mountains.

When we arrive, you've got options. Feel like stretching your legs? We'll do a short orientation spin through the surrounding hills; just enough to wake up the muscles and test the gears. Or take it easy, wander the market town, and let the rhythm of Bac Ha settle in.

Dinner tonight is simple, local, and shared with the people who know this place best. No rush. Just arrival.

  • Day 2: Bac Ha Backroads And Villages (B/L/D) | Distance: 40–55 km. Elevation: +1,120 m / -1,150 m

    • Today, we ride. Not to conquer, but to connect. We'll take the quiet lanes around Bac Ha, roads that wind through Flower Hmong villages, past terraced hillsides, and into settlements where daily life unfolds at its own pace.

The terrain is playful: gentle rollers that get your heart rate up, followed by smooth descents where you can tuck in and let momentum carry you.

Shift through your gears as the landscape changes: stone houses, corn fields, children waving from the roadside.
This isn't about ticking boxes. It's about feeling the place, one pedal stroke at a time.

  • Day 3: Bac Ha - Xin Man (B/L/D) | Distance: 60–80 km. Elevation: +1,450 m / -1,980 m

    • We point the handlebars toward Xin Man, one of those places that feels like it exists just for those who take the time to find it.
The road undulates, never punishing, always engaging, as we climb through high ridges and rural communities. You'll feel the shift in elevation in your legs and in the air: cooler, thinner, clearer. The views open up in wide, sweeping panoramas.
This is a transition day, but don't let that fool you. It's one of those rides where the journey itself becomes the destination. Arrive in Xin Man with that good kind of tired. The kind that comes from moving through something beautiful.

  • Day 4: Xin Man Ridge Roads And Villages (B/L/D) | Distance: 45–60 km. Elevation: +1,200 m / -1,100 m

    • Today isn't about landmarks. It's about presence. We'll explore the smaller roads around Xin Man: routes that pass steep fields, mountain houses, and local markets where farmers, children, and livestock share the path.

The riding is intimate: short climbs that reward you with village views, technical descents that ask for your attention, and flat sections where you can just spin and soak it in. You'll shift gears not just for the terrain, but for the moments: a pause to greet a local, a stop to photograph a terrace, a slow roll through a hamlet where time feels different.

This is cycling as cultural immersion.

  • Day 5: Xin Man - Hoang Su Phi (B/L/D) | Distance: 50–70 km. Elevation: +1,350 m / -1,480 m

    • We continue toward Hoang Su Phi, where the land tells stories in layers.

The route traces mountain slopes, villages perched above valleys, and fields shaped over generations by Red Dao, Nung, and other ethnic communities. As we ride, the scenery sharpens: terraces cascading down hillsides, forest edges meeting cultivated land, and the quiet dignity of mountain life. You'll feel the change in the air (cooler, stiller) as we arrive. Hoang Su Phi doesn't shout. It whispers. And if you listen, it stays with you.

  • Day 6: Hoang Su Phi Terrace Roads (B/L/D) | Distance: 40–60 km. Elevation: +1,620 m / -1,300 m

    • Dedicate today to the terraces. We'll ride roads and tracks that reveal steep cultivated slopes, forest contours, and settlements tucked into the landscape.

The terrain is varied enough to keep your legs engaged: short climbs that open up panoramic views, flowing descents through valley corridors, and flat sections where you can settle into a rhythm and just look.

This is one of those days where you'll stop more than you ride, not because you have to, but because the view demands it. Camera ready. Heart open.

  • Day 7: Hoang Su Phi Village Immersion Ride (B/L/D) | Distance: 35–50 km. Elevation: +950 m / -980 m

    • A second day in Hoang Su Phi means we can go deeper. We'll visit more remote hamlets, observe local farming activity, and spend time in places most travelers rush past.
The pace remains active but unhurried. You'll ride when it feels good, stop when something catches your eye, and let the day unfold organically.

This isn't a checklist ride. It's a privilege ride, the kind where you realize you're not just passing through, you're being allowed in.

  • Day 8: Hoang Su Phi - Ha Giang Outskirts (B/L/D) | Distance: 65–85 km. Elevation: +850 m / -1,850 m

    • We begin the gentle shift toward Ha Giang. Depending on road conditions, we'll mix scenic cycling sections with light vehicle support, preserving energy for the best parts of the route.

The mountain world gradually opens: broader valleys, larger settlements, the first hints of the city ahead. The riding today is about flow: maintaining momentum on the good stretches, shifting down for the rollers, and staying present as the landscape changes beneath your wheels.

Arrive in the Ha Giang outskirts with that quiet satisfaction of a day well-ridden.

  • Day 9: Rural Ha Giang Cycling (B/L/D) | Distance: 30–50 km. Elevation: +350 m / -350 m

    • Our last full day on the bike is designed to land softly. We'll ride quieter roads outside Ha Giang city, discovering the agricultural landscapes and village communities that surround it.

This isn't about pushing hard; it's about savoring. Easy gears, relaxed pace, time to reflect on the journey while the scenery unfolds one last time. If you've got a little sprint left in you, go for it. If not, just roll.

Either way, you'll finish the day with that deep, contented fatigue that comes from ten days of meaningful miles.

  • Day 10: Ha Giang - Hanoi (B/L/D) | transfer

    • One last breakfast in the mountains, then we transfer back to Hanoi by vehicle. You'll arrive in the capital later in the day, maybe a little sore, definitely changed. You didn't just see the far north: you rode through it, felt its rhythms, and carried its stories with you, kilometer by kilometer.

End of services, but not the end of the story.
