Route: Hanoi - Cao Bang - Ban Gioc waterfall - Ha Lang - Lang Son
 
  • Day 1: Hanoi - Cao Bang - Quang Uyen (L/D)
    • Our guide will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 AM and head north towards Cao Bang. travel time is about 5 hours on the highway through Lang Son.
      Lunch at 13.00 at a local restaurant in Dong Dang town, then trek from Cun stream on Ma Phuc pass, through fields and valleys to Phia Thap incense village (a traditional handicraft village made of traditional handicrafts Incense of the Nung ethnic minority). Tonight we will spend the night in the village stilt house of the Nung ethnic group and enjoy dinner together.

      A 10 ~ 12km trek
       
  • Day 2: Trekking in Quang Uyen (B/L/D)
    • We will set out to explore the traditional craft villages of Cao Bang after breakfast. The first stop is Phia Thap village, a Nung community famous for making incense for more than 100 years. Then we will continue the journey through the fields to come to the tile making village with yin and yang tile style. Next stop, Phuc Sen forging village. Here we will witness the stages of forging knives of the people here. Next is the knitting village of the Nung ethnic group.
      We will have a picnic lunch before going to the paper-making village of the Nung here.
      After that, we will return to the traditional house of the Nung in the incense village and enjoy dinner together.

  • Day 3: Quang Uyen - Ban Gioc waterfall (B/L/D)
    • Today, we continue to cross the fields and hills from Quang Uyen to Ban Gioc waterfall. Nestled among these amazing landscapes is the breathtaking Ban Gioc waterfall that stretches over 300 meters, bisecting Vietnam and China. We will have some time here to enjoy the great atmosphere around the falls, this is a great opportunity to take some great photos.
      Once you’ve finished at the falls, it’s time to head over to Nguom Ngao Cave, for a very different, but no less impressive natural wonder. The cave stretches for 2,144 meters underground and is brimming with incredible stalactites and stalagmites.
      After lunch at a local restaurant, we will start trekking from Yen Nhi homestay through Thuon village and back to Yen Nhi homestay for overnight stay.

      A 10 ~ 12 km
       
  • Day 4: Ban Gioc waterfall - Lang Ha trek (B/L/D)
    • After breakfast, we will start the trek off the beaten path from Dam Thuy, along the border with China - Phuc Hoa, through the green fields of Cao Bang. We will have lunch at 12:00 at a local restaurant. Before coming to Thanh Nhat town, we will conquer Vinh Quy pine hill together. Here, we will witness with our own eyes the traditional tiled stilt houses, mossy fences, people grazing cattle on grassy hills, etc. At the end of the long journey, we will rest and have dinner at Mr. Chung's homestay.

      A 17~20km trek
       
  • Day 5: Ha Lang - Dong Khe - That Khe – Hanoi (B/L)
    • After enjoying breakfast, our guide and driver will take you to Dong Khe and That Khe - two heroic historical monuments in the war of independence of the Vietnamese people.
      We will have lunch on the way back to Hanoi.
      Around 5:30 PM, you will be in Hanoi and it's time to say goodbye to our guide and driver.
      End of the tour.

Yen Nhi Homestay Ban Gioc

Mr Kim's Homestay
Address: Phia Thap Village, Quoc Dan, Quang Uyen, Cao Bang province
Mr Kim’s Homestay stands out in green rice paddy fields of Phia Thắp Village, home to 50 families from the Nùng ethnic minority in Cao Bằng Province.
The traditional structure of Kim’s stilt house is still preserved. The house’s first floor, which used to be a cattle holding area, has been extended to make a cozy living room with wooden tables and chairs. The well-organised second floor is where tourists can sleep, providing more than 20 mattresses and eco-friendly decoration. Each mattress is well prepared with a pillow, a mosquito net, a lamp and an electricity socket.

No need format. Rooster will be the alarm. Very easy to be vegetarian. Driver always safe and confident. Thank you Ngoc! Different kind of activities and coftoral experiences every day. May be more Vietnam Style breakfast, sometimes western breakfast is not as tasty
