Day 1: Hanoi arrival (-)
- Arrival at Noi Bai airport, then your family will be transferred to hotel in the city center for check-in.
  (Check-in time is 14:00, but you can request early check-in with a surcharge). Enjoy free time to explore Hanoi by yourself or just to rest. Your North & Central Vietnam Soft Adventure for Family just begins!
Day 2: Hanoi City adventure on a Jeep (B/L)
- After breakfast, upon boarding a Jeep, your family will begin a fascinating journey via Hanoi's main sights and the breezy Red River. Find out how residents live, work, and play by exploring the tiny lanes, neighborhood homes, schools, and marketplaces. Drive past the top city landmarks, such as Hanoi Flag Tower, Ba Dinh Square, Opera House, West Lake, Thang Long Royal Citadel, and more.
  Savour an authentic Hanoi food at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for relaxing.
  
  The remainder of the day is free time for enjoying with your family a chilling time on your own.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake and National Park (B/L/D)
- Our tour guide will pick you up by car at your hotel early, as we have a lot in store for you today. On the way to Ba Be National Park, we will stop in a local village to enjoy lunch at a restaurant, before our route takes us up through the mountains and tea plantations on the road to Ba Be.
  
  Arrival at Ba Be Jungle House, a homestay designed as a traditional stilts house from Tay ethnic people.
  
  Following this, we will take you to Hua Ma Cave, featuring thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. The rest of the day is up to you as you please, though we offer the optional activities of guided walks/bike rides around Coc Toc Village and kayaking trips on the lake. If you’d rather spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the serene views, then that’s also an option.
Day 4: Ba Be Lake - Hanoi (B/L)
- After breakfast we’ll kick this day your North & Central Vietnam Soft Adventure for Family of by boarding a boat and setting off onto the lake. Bring your swimsuit and take a jump into the refreshing waters of the lake from the top of the boat! The views consist of stunning karst formations all around you covered with patches of wild vegetation and a rich wildlife.
  
  The boat will then continue along the Nang River, giving you a chance to explore Puong Grotto where you can marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites created through river erosion, as well as observe the thousand-strong bat colony that lives here.
  
  After your exploration of the lake, you will have the chance to rest as we drive you back to Hanoi, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant on the way before arriving in Hanoi at about 17:30.
Day 5: Ha Noi - Ha long Bay (B/L/D)
- Day 4 of your Vietnam Soft Adventure and you still discover how tasty breakfast can be here! But it is time to drive to Halong Bay, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites with its famous and spectacular seascape. Embark on the cruise with a fresh welcome drink as the itinerary and safety instructions are given to you. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch served on board while leisurely cruising across hypnotic scenery of limestone islands.
  
  In the afternoon, explore Halong Bay by taking part in a variety of fun activities: kayaking, swimming in jade-colored waters, and exploring the caves (follow the cruise program). After activities, go back to the ship and unwind on the sundeck while enjoying the breathtaking sunset views. Or maybe your kids would prefer to enroll in a culinary class?
  Eat dinner together, evening activities and night on board.
Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Transfer to Da Nang by plane - Hoi An (B/L)
- Remember to wake up to enjoy the blazing dawn on the karst peaks. Then join a Tai Chi class to boost your physical and mental wellbeing. Breakfast is served while the cruise passes a marvelous area with beautiful islands and islets. Then, depending on your cruise program, you might get the option to take a kayaking or rowing boat tour through one of the many breathtaking caverns in Halong Bay.
  
  it is already time to return on board to complete the check-out procedure. Enjoy a delicious brunch while the cruise returns to the pier.
  
  Finally, disembark from the cruise to the transfer to Noi Bai airport by shuttle bus to catch the flight to Da Nang.
  
  Upon arrival, your family will be transferred to the hotel in Hoi An for check-in. Have a relaxing time in this romantic town.
Day 7: Hoi An - Tra Que herbal village (B/L)
- Our tour begins at either 8:00 AM or 2:00 PM when our guide meets you in the hotel lobby. From there, we'll hop on bicycles and head to Hoi An's vibrant central market. Here, you'll have the chance to engage with local vendors and gain insights into the ingredients we'll use in our upcoming cooking lesson. Don't forget your camera for this colorful experience.
  
  Continuing our bike ride, we'll reach Tra Que vegetable village, where our cooking class awaits. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink before taking a leisurely stroll through the lush vegetable gardens. Here, you'll witness local farmers tending to their fields using age-old, traditional methods—no modern machinery in sight.
  Relaxation follows in the form of a soothing foot herbal massage. Afterward, it's time to put on your chef's hat and apron. We'll head to the restaurant, where, under the chef's guidance, you'll learn the time-honored techniques of preparing and cooking Vietnamese cuisine.
  
  Once the lesson is complete, savor the delicious meal you've prepared. Our culinary adventure concludes with a return to your Hoi An hotel, leaving you with a memorable experience of Vietnam's rich culinary traditions.
  
  Back to your hotel for a short rest, before having a fun family bonding time in a Lantern Making Workshop. Choose a 3 hours class for making a lantern from the scratch or 1.5 hours for only covering a pre-made frame. Create together traditional lantern to bring back home as souvenirs!
  
  Note: The whole family, even those as young as three years old, can take part in this unusual and enjoyable activity.
Day 8: Cam Thanh village - Rowing basket (B/L)
- At 8:00 am or 1:00 pm, our driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An and transfer you to Cam Thanh coconut village. Here, you will experience a basket boat ride around the coconut forest, and learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families, and their community. During the trip, the boatman will take coconut leaves to make funny natural ornaments such as hats, rings, and glasses … extremely lovely for your kids (and you!) You will also join an equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum. Join local fishermen on the river and experience a round net or cast net.
  
  Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. And you will hear stories of past wars and the harsh conditions that soldiers have to endure.
  
  Next, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Then relax and transfer back to the hotel in the afternoon.
