Day 1: Hanoi arrival (-)
- Arrival at Noi Bai airport, then your family will be transferred to hotel in the city center for check-in.
  
  (Check-in time is 14:00, but you can request early check-in with a surcharge). Enjoy free time to explore Hanoi by yourself or just to rest. Your North Vietnam Wonders with Family just begins!
Day 2: Hanoi City tour - Bat Trang pottery village (B/L)
- Today, you will visit the top spots in Hanoi to get a true feel for the culture and tradition that underpins this dynamic city. After breakfast in your hotel, you will be collected at 08:00 by your tour guide who will take you to Vietnam’s first national university, The Temple of Literature. The courtyards boast beautifully preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and well-maintained gardens all decorated with ornate sculptures. Strop at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from outside), a site with tremendous historical value (Stilts house where Uncle Ho lived and worked) and the famous One Pillar Pagoda. Then explore Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam, with its unique architecture and religious and historical values.
  
  After lunch, your cultural discovery will continue with Bat Trang; a local handicraft village specialized in pottery. Let’s drive to Hanoi sub urban and take a stroll through. It is where your familymay get together to work on ceramics while getting messy in the process. In the late afternoon, back to Hanoi; the rest is up to you.
Day 3: Hanoi - Cat Ba National Park (B/L/D)
- You will be collected from your hotel in Hanoi's old quarter at 08:00 to begin the drive to Dinh Vu Harbour. You will then take a 45-minute high-speed boat to Cat Ba Island. After that, you will go to Cat Ba town for lunch.
  
  In the afternoon, you will trek to Viet Hai Village through Cat Ba National Park which is a haven for both bird watching and sightseeing amidst the pristine forest and at Frog Lake. Along the way, you will have the chance to see native cats, squirrels, spotted deer, snakes, thousands of butterflies, and if you’re lucky, one of the rare Cat Ba Langurs.
  
  Rounding out the day, you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a bungalow in the local village of Viet Hai.
Day 4: Lan Ha Bay (B/L/D)
- Breakfast will be served at 07:30 followed by a walk to the top of Marine Hill which offers panoramic views of both Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. On returning to Viet Hai Village, you can try a fish massage or take some time to relax before cycling to Viet Hai Harbour. From here you will board the boat to explore the beauty of Lan Ha Bay. Lunch will be served on-board followed by kayaking excursion around Hang Luon Cave, and if it is hot, the boat will take you to some beautiful wild beaches where you can spend some time swimming and snorkelling before having dinner on-board and spending the night on the boat.
Day 5: Lan Ha Bay - Cat Ba - Hanoi (B/L)
- After enjoying breakfast on the boat with the sun rising in the background you will continue the cruise around Lan Ha Bay, weaving among the myriad of limestone peaks. On this last day you will also get to visit a fish and shellfish farm and the colourful floating village of Cai Beo. Lunch will again be served on-board (or on land if we have new passengers waiting to embark). You will disembark at around 11:30, return to Hanoi, ending your tour of Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island.

Day 6: Hanoi departure (B)
- Enjoy the last breakfast at the hotel and process check out before our driver picks you up at the airport to catch your departure flight.
