Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (-)
- Your adventure in Vietnam Family Beach Vacation begins when you step off the plane and into the warm, welcoming air of Hanoi. Arrival at Noi Bai airport, then your family will be transferred to hotel in the city center for check-in.
  Enjoy free time to explore Hanoi by yourself or just to rest.
Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B/L)
- The tour is split into a morning and afternoon schedule with a tasty lunch in between!
  At 8:30 you are invited to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century. After that your journey will be continued with the visit Ho Chi Minh complex including a tour of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. The morning will end with a tour of Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam.
  
  After a good satisfying lunch in one of Hanoi’s famous restaurants, we will visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11th century
  We will take you on a walking tour around Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple, which honors General Tran Hung Dao in the 13th century.
  
  Extra activities.
  Option for the night at Hanoi: Water Puppet Show (45 minutes)
  The traditional puppetry art of the Vietnamese people is associated with the natural conditions and daily life of wet rice farmers in the Northern Delta. With the unique features of an art form with folk elements, water puppetry has quickly become a traditional art and is considered a unique intangible cultural heritage of the Vietnamese nation. This is also a distinct traditional culture of the Vietnamese people compared to the puppetry art of countries around the world.
Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Bich Dong) (B/L)
- Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning then drive to Ninh Binh. Hoa Lu, situated 100 km south of Hanoi, was the capital city of Vietnam under the Dinh Dynasty between 968 and 1009 AD. Some of the sanctuaries and tombs have survived the years and can still be seen today. Start cycling on countryside roads onto Hoa Lu and the ancient 10th century citadel. Apart from the historical interest, the area is also one of astounding natural beauty with limestone peaks whose splendor is often said to surpass that of Halong Bay. Continue your ride through the limestone peaks to Tam Coc, passing rice paddies and rural villages. In Tam Coc lunch is served at a local restaurant with a view over the boat pier. The tour includes being rowed along the Ngo Dong River, which makes for a truly unforgettable experience, passing between towering limestone peaks. You conclude an excursion day with a visit to Bich Dong Pagoda.
Day 4: Ninh Binh - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
- Day 4 of your Vietnam Family Beach Vacation and you still discover how tasty breakfast can be here! But it is time to drive to Halong Bay, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites with its famous and spectacular seascape. Embark on the cruise with a fresh welcome drink as the itinerary and safety instructions are given to you. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch served on board while leisurely cruising across hypnotic scenery of limestone islands.
  
  In the afternoon, explore Halong Bay by taking part in a variety of fun activities: kayaking, swimming in jade-colored waters, and exploring the caves (follow the cruise program). After activities, yoback to the ship and unwind on the sundeck while enjoying the breathtaking sunset views. Or maybe your kids would prefer to enroll in a culinary class?
  Eat dinner together, evening activities and night on board.
Day 5: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Transfer to Da Nang by plane - Hoi An (B/L)
- Remember to wake up to enjoy the blazing dawn on the karst peaks. Then join a Tai Chi class to boost your physical and mental wellbeing. Breakfast is served while the cruise passes a marvelous area with beautiful islands and islets. Then, depending on your cruise program, you might get the option to take a kayaking or rowing boat tour through one of the many breathtaking caverns in Halong Bay. It is already time to return on board to complete the check-out procedure. Enjoy a delicious brunch while the cruise returns to the pier.
  
  Finally, disembark from the cruise to the transfer to Noi Bai airport by shuttle bus to catch the flight to Da Nang.
  
  Upon arrival, your family will be transferred to the hotel in Hoi An for check-in. Have a relaxing time in this romantic town.
Day 6: Cam Thanh village - Lattern making workshop - Transfer to Nha Trang by train (B/L)
- At 8:00 am or 1:00 pm, our driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An and transfer you to Cam Thanh coconut village. Here, you will experience a basket boat ride around the coconut forest, and learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families, and their community. During the trip, the boatman will take coconut leaves to make funny natural ornaments such as hats, rings, and glasses … extremely lovely for you. You will also join an equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum. Join local fishermen on the river and experience a round net or cast net.
  
  Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. And you will hear stories of past wars and the harsh conditions that soldiers have to endure.
  
  Next, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Then relax and transfer back to the hotel in the afternoon.
  
  Back to your hotel for a short rest, before having a fun family bonding time in a Lantern Making Workshop. Choose a 3 hours class for making a lantern from the scratch or 1.5 hours for only covering a pre-made frame. Create together traditional lantern to bring back home as souvenirs!
  
  Note: The whole family, even those as young as three years old, can take part in this unusual and enjoyable activity.
  
  At night, you will be transferred to Da Nang train station. You should buy food and drink since it’ll be a long ride. By the way, this 10-hour train from Da Nang to Nha Trang is a unique opportunity to enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the Central coastline.
Day 7: Full day discover the most beautiful islands of Nha Trang (B/L)
- After breakfast, you will embark on a boat trip around Nha Trang Bay, which is one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Your first stop is at the Tri Nguyen Aquarium followed by Hon Mun Island where you will have the chance to do some swimming and snorkeling. You will have lunch on Con Se Tre Island with time to relax before boarding the boat back to the harbor. From the harbor, you drive to your hotel for another night in Nha Trang.
Day 8, 9, 10: Free day in Nha Trang (B)
- Three days free to explore Nha Trang together. You can visit the beach in the sunshine with your children to swim and relax. A city tour where you can sample seafood or have a mud bath both sound like nice ideas too.
Day 11: Nha Trang - Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
- Enjoy free time to go shopping before checking out. After that, your family is picked up from your hotel for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
  
  Arrival at the Tan Son Nhat Airport then transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of your day is your free time to explore this bustling City. Why not a Street Foood tour ?
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh - Half-Day City tour (B)
- At 08:00 AM, take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.
  
  12:00 PM: Transfer back your hotel or meeting point. Finish the trip.
Day 13: Ho Chi Minh - Cai Be - Cao Dai - Tan Phong isles (B/L)
- Arriving at Cai Be in the morning at around 11:00 AM, you will be welcomed by the hospitable smile of the local guide and invited some fresh fruit or drink before embarking on a boat to visit Cai Be inland. We will be heading head to a traditional local house where they produce coconut candies, bánh tráng (rice paper), cốm nổ (pop-rice cake) etc. There you can observe the daily life of local people who live mostly based on the river sources. We may buy some fresh tropical fruits on the local seller’s boats and engage in conversation with them.
  
  After that, we continue aboard to head to Mekong Rustic homestay on Tan Phong isles surrounded by lush tropical fruit gardens. There you check in, enjoy a cup of tea and welcome fruits and a Southern style Vietnamese lunch prepared by the host family. In the afternoon, the local host will show you to his orchards where he shares his experience on how to take care of the garden and pick fruits as it is his daily work. Let’s listen to Don Ca Tai Tu while enjoying your self-picked fruits from his garden.
  
  In the late afternoon, we go to the vegetable garden and pick veggies for your own dinner. After that we all prepare and cook a family meal with the help of the local host. Homestay overnight in the host family surrounded by tropical garden.
Day 14: Tan Phong island - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
- Wake up in the early morning to enjoy the fresh air of Mekong Delta and then take a stroll around the home- stay, where your 2nd day tour in Mekong starts.
  
  Breakfast will be ready in the meantime. After breakfast, you will cycle to visit Tan Phong isles. On route, stop at a local farmer’s house and learn how to make Jackfruit leaf cake. Continue to cycle and stop at a bonsai garden and meet the host. He will introduce the way they plant the bonsai and take care of the orchards.
  
  After making a loop around the isles on the bicycle, we return to our homestay, take a short rest before saying goodbye to the friendly host. We check out at 11:00 - 11:30 and leave Tan Phong Isles. The ferry will take you back the wharf to depart to Ho Chi Minh.
Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City departure (B)
- Enjoy your last moments in Ho Chi Minh city before your departure. Check-out time is at 12:00 (Possible late check-out with a surcharge).
  
  Transfer to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure flight.
